Hoxe Erin leu un libro fermoso e divertido: We're going on a bear hunt. Andamos a búsqueda dun oso, pero non foi doado! Atopamos moitos obstáculos, entre eles un río, unha tormenta de neve, etc e tivemos que atravesalos todos ata chegar ata a cova.
Today Erin read a nice, fun book full of excitement called: "We're going on a bear hunt". We looked for a bear and it was not easy! We found lots of obstacles: a river, a snowstorm etc. We had to "go through" them all to find the bear's cave.
Esta semana a lectura foi moi colorida, escollemos o libro "Dog's colorful day" de Emma Dodd. Un simpático can, que comeza o seu día cun só punto negro na súa orella pero a medida que van pasando as horas vai recollendo diferentes puntos de cores por toda a cidade. Un excelente xeito de practicar números e cores!🐶
This week we read the book "Dog's colorful day" by Emma Dodd. Dog starts off the day with one black spot on his ear but as he wanders around town, Dog collects spots of different colors. Excellent way of learning numbers and colors!

The students learned about lines as they created a colorful picture of a hand using a variety of lines.
Comezamos o noso proxecto de penpals. O alumnado intercambiará cartas con nen@s de Uganda e os EE.UU. A primeira carta será para presentarse incluíndo información persoal sobre familia, hobbies, mascotas etc. Estaban moi entusiasmad@s por recibir as cartas dende Austin, Texas. Aquí tendes algunhas delas.
We have already started our penpal project. Students will exchange letters with kids from Uganda and the U.S. In the first letter they introduced themselves, writing about personal information such as family, hobbies, pets, etc. They were vey excited to receive letters from Austin (Texas). Enjoy some of the letters from our friends :)
Despois de dous anos sen visitar a súa familia a causa da pandemia, a nosa auxiliar de conversa Erin puido por fin viaxar ata Boston, a súa cidade no estado de Massachusetts.

After two years without visiting her family due to the pandemic, Erin, our language assistant, could finally travel to Boston, the city where she lives in the state of Massachusetts.
She recorded a video to show us some places in her neighborhood such as a bookstore, library, church and her own house. We really loved it! Thank you for sharing with us. 😍
Last Friday the 19th, we celebrated Christmas in our English classes. We celebrated with our language assistant Erin, and did activities, such as storytelling and playing music.
