CHRISTMAS IN THE PHILIPPINES

 We all learned a lot about the most typical traditions at Christmas in The Philippines, it is known as Pasko and it is the biggest and one of the most important celebrations in this country. Also, it is the longest Christmas season in the world as it lasts from September to December! 

LITTLE BLUE TRUCK

 Zoila told kindergarten and 1st grade students a sweet story about a little blue truck that delivers Christmas trees to different animals. It was an amazing way of learning new vocabulary and  enjoying storytelling.

ERIN IN BOSTON

Despois de dous anos sen visitar a súa familia a causa da pandemia, a nosa auxiliar de conversa Erin puido por fin viaxar ata Boston, a súa cidade no estado de Massachusetts.

Alí gravou este vídeo que os mostramos onde aparecen diferentes lugares do seu vecindario:  biblioteca, libraría, unha igrexa e tamén a súa casa. Grazas por compartir!

 After two years without visiting her family due to the pandemic, Erin, our language assistant, could finally travel to Boston, the city where she lives in the state of Massachusetts.

She recorded a video to show us some places in her neighborhood such as a bookstore, library, church and her own house. We really loved it! Thank you for sharing with us. 😍

 

A CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

 Last Friday the 19th, we celebrated Christmas in our English classes. We celebrated with  our language assistant Erin, and did activities, such as storytelling and playing music.
