ART AND CINEMA IN INDIA

 Ao longo do mes de xuño o alumnado mergullouse no marabilloso mundo da India.

 Por unha parte, nas clases de Plástica realizou deseños Rangoli, un tipo de arte folclórico deste país, realízanse nos pisos das salas de estar e patios durante festivais hindús.

 Nas clases de Inglés, fixéronse presentacións con datos sobre a industria de Bollywood e a creación de mini books relacionados co tema. Ademáis fixeron unha entrevista con interesantes preguntas a Ria Kakkad, ex auxiliar de conversa que traballou coa mestra Olga no 2018 e segue as tradicións indias.

Todos os traballos foron expostos nunha pequena instalación no colexio. Moitos parabéns a tod@s!

 

 During the month of June the students immersed themselves in the wonderful world of India.

In the Art lessons they made Rangoli patterns using different materials . Rangoli is traditional Indian decoration and patterns made with ground rice, particularly during festivals.

In the English lessons they learned a lot of interesting facts about the film industry in Bollywood. Also, they made mini books and interviewed Ria Kakkad, a former language assistant who has an Indian background.

All the work was shown in an installation at the school. Congratulations to all the students !!💪🏼
